Kate specialises in Raku and stoneware slip-cast ceramics. Her elegant groupings of pots are conceived as small-scale installations. Boxes, jugs, vessels, and containers are arranged to highlight the relationships between the interior and exterior of the pieces. Wood, slate and precious metal gilding are used in conjunction with her ceramics to create a sense of balance and harmony.

Building on her range of distinctive cylindrical forms, Kate has developed a series of curvaceous cast and assembled jugs that are either tilted or upright, evoking a sense of movement and interplay. Positioned in groups, they appear to capture fleeting moments of conversations and intimate human connections.
